24 Hour Permit~ £20 Per Person
24 Hours from the time that you arrive
You may arrive anytime between 7 am. and 7 pm.

All Permits should be purchased at our shop adjacent to the Canal.

All Persons entering the Fishery do so entirely at their own risk.
The Owners and Mangement do not accept liability for any loss, damage or injury to Persons, Property or Vehicles however caused whilst using the Fishery.

Our exclusive 2 acre Specimen Carp Lake is our most challenging water, it is exclusively stocked with quality Carp averaging 15 lbs, plenty of twenties and at least one known 30 lb plus Mirror “Bertie”.

The Lake is perfect for the experienced carp angler or anyone seeking their first “Twenty”. Bait boats are allowed.

An extra peg, Number 7 has been added at the far end of the Lake ensuring maximum accessibility to all areas of the Lake. The Lake has also been enlarged and re-shaped opposite Peg 2 with a new feature of a gently shelving bank added.

SPECIMEN CARP LAKE RULES

1 ) The Lake is rod and line only. Pre-booking is essential.

2 )All nets must be either dry or dipped in our disinfectant net dip before fishing.

3 ) All anglers must have and use barbless hooks, an un-hooking mat and a large
36” minimum landing net.

4 ) No fixed leads or feeders. Minimum hook length of 6 inches.

5 )A minimum line strength of 10 lbs is to be used.

6 ) Keepnets and carp sacks are not permitted to be taken onto the Lake.

7 ) No artificial fake baits bigger than a single grain of sweet corn.

8 ) Floating baits can only be used if free lined ie. No bubble floats or controller floats.

9 ) Fishing is only allowed from one of the 7 well spaced pegs situated on the left hand side of the Lake, all of which can be used as doubles.

10 ) There is a maximum of 7 Anglers allowed on the Lake at anyone time.

11 ) Under no circumstances are Anglers permitted onto the far bank or past the fence at Peg 7 as these areas are Private.

12 )No under 16’s are allowed on to this Lake.

13 ) Subject to our agreement, if the Lake is quiet a third rod may be permitted, it must be paid for before starting fishing. Extra rod £5 per day - £10 per 24 hour.

14 ) One non-fishing guest is allowed overnight but a camping fee of £3 will be charged.

15 ) Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Please clean up after them.

16 ) NO LITTER. Please use the bins provided or take your rubbish home.

17 ) Barbeques and cooking stoves must only be used on the pegs stone chippings and not on the grass.

Any infringement of these Rules may result in you being asked to leave the Fishery.
No refund will be given.......

Night fishing is available.

The Lake is available for group bookings for which a 50% deposit is required in advance at the time of booking.

No Concession Permits are available on this Lake.
