Our Coarse Match Lake is very well stocked with Carp to 10 lb, Bream and Tench to 4 lbs, as well as Roach, Rudd, Crucians, Barbel to 2 lb and Chub.
Open matches are held throughout the year on alternate Sundays, along with our popular Summer League evening matches held on Thursdays between May and August.
Although constructed with the coarse match angler in mind, this Lake is also perfect for pleasure fishermen of all abilities.
There are 30 well spaced pegs and the Lake is available for Club or Group Match bookings. Contact our shop for details.
Please note that No night fishing is allowed on this Lake

THIS PERMIT ENTITLES ONE PERSON TO FISH WITH 2 RODSAND CAN BE USED TO FISH THE CARP LAKE, MATCH LAKE AND CANAL
IT DOES NOT ALLOW FISHING ON THE SPECIMEN CARP LAKE

BARBEL AND CHUBWe were granted permission by the Environment Agency to stock 1000 Barbel and 500 Chub into our Match Lake in December 2008.These fish were introduced at approx. 3’’-4’’ and are sure to make a big impression as they grow quickly!Update December 2011 - Fat Chub now coming out, plus numerous Barbel
